Three years ago Tenspeed Hero came across teenager Dean Goessens + friends on the side of the road with a flat tire and no tubes. We shared with him our spares and wished him well. We later became friends and met his father, ex-professional road cyclist and now coach, Jan Goessens. We visit whenever we can. We laugh about the time we first met. We sit at their table and talk about old and new races. We witness Jan’s love of birds. They feed us frites, salad and sausage. We send them socks and take pictures. But really no explanation is really needed. This is just a gallery about a father and a son.
