Tenspeed Hero called Chicagoan Cady Chintis last winter and asked how we could help out with the three-woman racing team known as Les Petites Victoires. Emails, text messages and a couple visits at La Colombe Torrefaction had us helping out their team with arm warmers, caps, water bottles and designing a team sock to generate some cash for gas money. This weekend we met with team members Mia, Jannette and Cady for a team photo session at Hero Headquarters before Cady and Jannette raced The Midwest Orthopedic Specialty Hospital Whitnall Park Spring Classic, or as we like to call it, The OSHWPSC! And Yes… Cady Chintis and Jannette Rho took the first two steps on the podium in respective order. It is our goal to tag along and photograph some mid-western racing with these woman this summer. The TSH crew is so excited hop in the car and share some laughs and hopefully hang on to dear life on their training rides. If they show up to your local road race or criterium say hello, hi and bonjour. Your day will be the better for it. We wish them the best! and are thrilled to play a small role in their summer of racing!
