The Tenspeed Heroes walked over to our fine LBS and asked about the availability of a Campagnolo Record Carbon Seatpost for our Summer Build: TIME VXS. The answer was, “no more, there are no more.” We stood in deaf silence and rephrased the question to no avail. “But surely somewhere you can order them,” we stammered. It is no use. We remember where we were when at least a dozen of our favorite bike parts left this earth and were resurrected on eBay in a triad of all-cap market enhancing acronyms such as NIB, NOS, and LSW (LIGHT SHOP WEAR). We have more to say about this essential component from Campagnolo but for now we mourn our loss. Before the New 3T, Fizik, and any number of Bike branded makes you were our standby. We stared at you from afar. Maybe you were pantographed and maybe you were even made of titanium, no matter, you were beautiful and we will never forget you.
