Team Time Trial: Les Essarts to Les Essarts
Garmin Cervelo wins the Team Time Trial!!! The big budget teams did what they needed to do but the short course did not allow for much in the way of time gaps. What was delivered was the spectacle of a finally tuned, rotating, color-coordinated machine brought home by the Mythical Hero Thor Hushovd. His closet rivaled only by those of Eddy Merckx and Liz Taylor, Thor will now have to to hire a fashion consultant. Since yesterday, the God of Thunder has donned a brunette wig, the World Champion Stripes, A Polka-Dot Skinsuit, and now The Maillot Jaune! Heroes hope to see the wardrobe rounded out with Sprinter’s Green by the end of the tour.
