As Bob Roll once said, today was a day for the “honey badgers of the cycling world.” After yet another futile break was reeled in, the strongmen lined up for their first real sprint of The Tour. Badger Cav slipped away early while an impressive yellow locomotive by the name of Thor led Tyler to a bittersweet first TDF stage win. Following a rough couple months nothing heals like a sweet kiss from the girls in the yellow headbands. Heroes tip their hats to Tyler for a well-deserved victory.
Thor sleeps well in yellow tonight, while the mystery of the GC hangs overhead. With another punchy climb tomorrow expect to see some shakeups. Check back for exclusive photographs.
