Two Hero Interns ventured out behind the studio once more to shoot the Tenspeed Hero newspaper. It took us longer than we expected as the gentle breeze winding through the courtyard acted as a whipping wind against our newsprint. The medium of layered ink printing on newsprint also seems appropriate for a group of people obsessed with one of the oldest forms of mobility. We are pleased to offer this piece as proof that printed materials are not dying and do in fact have their place in the world. No matter how often the New York Times formats their newspaper for the iPad, there will never be a true replacement for the subtle transfer of ink to fingers, the swish and crackle of turning a large page, or the smell of freshly inked paper. They’re moving fast, but we still have some available in the Tenspeed Hero Store.
